What a way to entice and attract readers to your blog.
What’s so “awesome” about it?
As far as I can tell, it’s a Windows-only program that allows you to organize picture files into directories. Which Windows Explorer already does. I looked it over pretty thoroughly, trying to find anything that Picasa did that was interesting, and came up empty. Did I miss something?
I find it hard to imagine that Picasa sold many copies at the earlier US$30 price. And I can understand why Google decided to give it away. Although I still won’t be using it.

I believe you have missed may feature. The windows explorer although descent interface does not provide the same level of consolidation that picasa provides. Timeline overview is good example. IMHO it provides a simple unified interface for digital photo management and windows explorer does not. PERIOD!
